He looks at me confused and pats his costume for his phone then slaps his forehead and chuckles „I forgot it at home and Ambra knows the password.” I read the text „Lexi, come to me and kiss me and mwah and mwah.” It said and I burst out in laughter then show it to Laurencio. He sighs and takes my phone and dials his number. „Listen here, Ambra. I will change my password and steal your iPad and all your Adele dolls plus your albums.” And then gives me my phone back „Yeah, it’s solved.” I chuckle and he smiles and kisses my hand „I love you…” I blush and look away. He chuckles and I look down at my food and we start eating. After we finished, I took my glass of wine and sip from it as the waiter takes our plate and walks away „It’s different from what I’ve eaten here.” And after we ate at the restaurant, he took us on a yacht. Damn he’s rich. He take some to the highest floor and gives me a glass of champagne „Isn’t it beautiful, Alexis?” I sip from the glass and smile at him „Like I said to Ambra. Call me Lexi.” He nods and takes my hand in his as butterflies run in my stomach. I love this feeling „Lexi, I have a question for you…” He kisses my hand and I nod as my cheeks flush red. „Will you be my girlfriend?” He whispers as the gap between us closes and we make eye contact. I lick my lips as I whisper „Yes…” And the tension between us raises. He looks at my lips in hunger waiting for my permission, what a gentleman. I wrap my arms around his neck and he makes the move connecting his lips with mine as everything around was disappearing and it was just the two of us. It was excellent. We break apart after a few seconds as the eye contact reinstalls and I smile a bit shy „Let’s enjoy this night together.” He invites me to sit down as the yacht starts moving. We loose balance a bit as he hoovers over me placing his hands on the table and our faces were again millimeters away. We both chuckle nervously as our noses touch and his free hand grips on my waist „Another kiss wouldn’t hurt…” He whispers smirking. I giggle nervously and we kiss again, but shorter this time. Even tho it was short, the kiss felt so good. He knows to kiss so well. We sit down after this and he yanks his arm over my shoulder as I cuddle into his side chest „I love this feeling.” I say in a low voice and he looks down at me since he was much taller „What feeling?” I smile crossing my legs „Us…” He lift up chin and we make eye contact „Of course you love it. I love it too.” His lips smash on mine with no shame as his arm brings me closer to him by my waist. I cup his face with my hand as our lips keep embracing each other’s and he pulls me into his lap. I gasp and he doesn’t hesitate diving with his tongue in my mouth as his hands get under my dress. I break the kiss and give him a frown mixed with a flustered face. He frowns at me confused too „What is it?” I cross my arm „It’s our first date, Laurencio. Really make out? Or even more?” He smirks „You were thinking of that? I thought you wanted a longer kiss.” I cover my blushed face and he chuckles „I don’t mind anything, it’s up to you.” I sigh and smile shaking my head „Such an actor.” I mumble and he smiles at me. After some time we got back home and we walk in to see Mrs. and Mr. Bucudeno cuddling on the couch. They look at us and get up. I get my coat and heels off and Mrs. Bucudeno gets up „Ambra is asleep.” I nod and Laurencio crosses his arms „Did her doctor pass by?” Mrs. Bucudeno nods „He said something that really surprised me.” We both looked at her curious „What did he say?” Laurencio asks a bit worried. „He said that Ambra is a normal child now… She isn’t autistic anymore.” She wipes a tear as a smile creeps on her face. „How’s that possible?” She shrugs her shoulders and Mr. Bucudeno walks beside her „He said that someone entered in Ambra’s life and she got attached to it so much and helped her out of this disease.” Laurencio looks at me then back at his parents „You can go home. We’ll take it from here.” They nod and after some moments left. I go to the kitchen and pour myself a glass of water as I hear some footsteps behind me „Well, I don’t think I can thank you enough.” I turn around and look at him confused „Why?” He puts his hands on the counter as I sit between them „Because you treated Ambra. You came into her life and you’re her protective angel. Thank you.” I caress his cheek „But this happened thanks to you. You hired me.” He nods and kisses my forehead. I hug him and his warmth travels in me as I feel his heartbeat mixed with his breathing. We sit there hugged for some time then we hear a door creaking „Granny? Papi?” We break the hug and look down to see Ambra hugging her teddy bear in her teddy pyjamas. She looks up at us „You came back!” She rushes to me and I pick her up as she hugs me by my neck „I had a nightmare, Lexi… Can you sleep with me?” I look at Laurencio then back at Ambra „How about you sleep with your uncle, hm?” She shakes her head and starts sobbing „Don’t leave me, mama…” I caress her side face „Of course not, baby. Let’s get you to sleep.” I first drag Laurencio’s face down and kiss his cheek then go upstairs in my bedroom. I lay her down in bed and change in my pj’s then lay down beside her. She hugs me tight by my neck and I hug her back „It’s okay, Ambra. I’m here.” She nods and we stay cuddled as I drift off to sleep. The next day I wake up feeling myself spooned by a pair of muscular arms as my shoulder was getting goosebumps from a warm breath. I look down to see that Ambra was gone so I turn around to face a tattooed chest. Looking up, I meet Laurencio’s face. His eyes were still closed as his breathing was normal and his face features were so perfect. His jawline was defined and his lips were so juicy as his eye lashes were completing the portrait. I brush my finger past his bottom lip and his eyes shut open as I retreat my hand with a small gasp. His eyes scan me for a few seconds then the corner his lips twitch in a smile „Morning, beautiful.” His breath on my lips felt so good. I smile warmly at him and greet him back „Now the big question…” he says. „Where’s Ambra?” I get up and look around „I think she went back to her room last night.” He shakes his head and stretches with a groan „She was here when I woke up 30 minutes ago I think.” I hum then get up and look in my closet. Laurencio gets up and looks down at Otto „So you’re the one who has the 1st place.” Otto gets picked up by him and they have a little chit chat. After some minutes, I turn around at them a bit uncomfortable „Laurencio, can you leave the two of us alone a bit?” He walks to me confused „Why?” I sigh and put my hands together „Because I want to get changed and… I still have some boundaries and we don’t know each other so well and you know… Eh, I hope you understand.” His brows arch as a smirk gets plastered on his face „So you want to get to know each other better. Okay, let’s have $€÷ right here. Right. Now.” I look completely surprised at him. What happened to the romantic Laurencio from last night? I have so many questions at this moment. A sigh leaves my body as I shake my head „Maybe you just have to wait and be patient for this. Now put Otto down and let me get changed, please.” He drops the cat, kisses my cheek and leaves. Finally, inner peace. I get changed then go downstairs to see Ambra playing with her dolls on the couch „Good morning, Ambra. How you doing?” She walks up to me and hugs my legs and then giggles „Can we do breakfast?” I nod and take her to the kitchen where I place her on the counter and cross my hands smiling „What do we cook, chef Ambra?” She giggles in her cute way „Waffles! Uncle Laurio’s favorites!” She hugs tighter her teddy bear. I sign a ‘yes’ then prepare the needed stuff and start cooking. Everything was going well as I was chopping some fruits when I accidentally cut my hand. I hiss in pain and go to the sink where I clean my hand under cold water as I sigh in relief. Ambra looks at me panicked „Are you okay, Lexi…?” She murmurs on a worried tone. I nod as I bandage my hand and continue chopping off the fruits. She looks at my hand as a tear drops on her cheek. I hug her at my chest and kiss her forehead „Ambra dear, it’s not your fault. I’m totally okay. It was a little cut and nothing else, okay?” She nods and hugs me back „But one thing…” I whisper and she looks at me curious „We’re not telling your uncle, okay?” She hums in response and we keep on cooking. After some moments Laurencio walks in and speaks „Morning, girls.” Ambra giggles, walks to him and they have a hug. I put waffles on the table and look at them smiling. Laurencio loves her so much, he is so affectionate towards her like he’s to no one else. His eyes look up at mine then his face changes as his steps bring him to me and he lifts up my bandaged hand „What is this, Lexi?” I retreat it and shake my head „Nothing, just a little accident. Don’t worry about it.” He doesn’t hesitate and pulls me close to his chest as a frown forms on my face „Laurencio.” He doesn’t listen and lifts up my chin as our eye contact gets deeper „Tell me what happened, Alexis and I’ll let you go.” He says on a deep tone and I look down as a bit of blush heats up my cheeks „I-I accidentally cut my hand while chopping some fruits for the waffles…” I look up at him and he looks at me curious „Waffles?” I nod and he looks at Ambra „Let’s go eat!” They rush to the table and I follow them as we all enjoy the breakfast. After that I remained in the kitchen and cleaned around as Laurencio and Ambra left. I finish then leave the kitchen too to see Ambra holding Otto up as Laurencio was talking with it „It’s not fair you get all of Lexi’s love and attention, you little-” I cut him off „Laurencio! There is a kid in this room!” I frown at the three of them and Ambra hugs Otto at her chest as she murmurs something at his ear then giggles giving Laurencio an evil look. They let Otto down and Ambra looks at Laurencio „Can I go to your company? I wanna see it!” He looks at me with a ‘help me’ face and I nod „I’m sure your uncle has a lot of work and can’t show you around, Ambra. We better stay home and play with your dolls.” She shakes her head „I was never at uncle Laurio’s company. Maybe you can come too, Lexi!” I look back at Laurencio and he sighs „Fine, go get ready.” We both got ready and the three of us got in a car then Laurencio drove us to his company. It was big and almost all of it was made by glass. We get off the car and Ambra gasps „Wow!” She says and I take her hand then Laurencio takes us in to the lift. Ambra looks round excited „This is awesome!” She says and claps her hands as I agree „Indeed, but you will have to be good in order to see the whole company.” I say and wink at her. She nods in approval then we get to the last floor, Laurencio’s office. It was immense! The three of us go in and Ambra and I sit on the couch as Laurencio sits at his desk and calls for his secretary. A girl walks in and puts some files on the table then smiles as her and Laurencio have a chit chat, but she was like… Flirting with him. I frown at her as she left then look at Laurencio who was looking at me „And that’s named jealousy, love.” He looks in his laptop as I roll my eyes „Oh please. Why would I be jealous?” And he chuckles „I don’t know. Maybe because you and uncle Laurio are together and you should show that girl.” Ambra says and I look down at her surprised „Sorry, what?” They both laugh and I sigh „It’s not funny.” They shake their heads as Ambra walks and inspects around. On the coffee table there were a few architectural sketches. The curiosity killed me and I looked. They were so perfect and beautiful so I look up at him „Did you make this?” He nods and sits beside me giving me a laptop „You can try. I need a right hand and a second point of view around here.” I smile and start drawing a modernistic house. After some time I finish and show it to Laurencio. Ambra was asleep beside us because the couch was big enough for Laurencio to lay on it. He looks at my plan amazed „You can actually apply for a job in the company. It’s amazing!” I look at him surprised „Really!” He nods and hugs me „I would love to have you here. And maybe you can take my secretary’s place. She has the second point of view and…” He shows me the worst plans I’ve ever seen in my life. I nod „Can I apply now?” He hums in response and gives me a paper to complete my CV. After some time I give it back and he calls his secretary in and gives it to her and all of these. After his program finished, we got back home and I got an incoming call. I answer it and say „Hello?” The other person says „Hello, is this Miss Alexis Ventra?” I smile „Yes, that’s me.” The person nods „Miss Ventra, you’re invited tomorrow at 12pm at the A.M.A.S arhitecture & design company.” I squeal in excitement as we hang up then I look at Laurencio „I’m going to the interview!” He looks at me happy „Well done. We’ll see each other there.” I nod and then we get all get dressed in comfy clothes and sit on the couch as Ambra let’s her dolls down and looks at the two of us „Let’s watch Frozen!” I smile and nod as Laurencio sighs „I don’t know what to say…” I pick Ambra up and put her on my lap as we both make puppy eyes and say „Please!” His faces softens and smiles „Fine, I’ll go make the popcorn.” He gets up and his phone chimes „Oh! Uncle Laurio’s phone got a message!” Ambra whispers and I nod as I put on the movie and pause it at the beginning to wait for him. She takes the phone in her hands „Who’s she?” She asks and gives me the phone. I frown at the phone to see a Michelle texting him so I look back at Ambra „Do you know his password?” She nods „It’s 21.05.2010.” Interesting, my birth date. I click then on the message and see that they had a longer conversation and she sent him a ‘Hey sweetie, how are you doing?’ with a heart. I look in the past texts to see that they send each other hearts. Why? I sigh and shut down the phone putting it down as Laurencio walks back in and sits down then takes his phone „Ambra, did you again get in my phone?” She giggles and climbs up on the couch beside me as I put the movie and we watch it. After some minutes, Laurencio sneaks his hand over my shoulder and I shrug him off since I was still pissed about that Michelle then he frowns at me „What happened?” I toll my eyes „Nothing.” I take some popcorn and eat it. He sighs and keeps watching the movie. After some time I drift off to sleep and when I half wake up, I hear Ambra and Laurencio talking. I keep my eyes shut as Ambra whispers „She’s your princess, uncle.” Laurencio nods „Indeed, Ambra. The only thing now is that I don’t know why she was pissed.” Ambra giggles „She saw your texts with granny Michelle.” Laurencio nods and I open my eyes shut then stretch out my arms „Did the movie ended?” I look at Laurencio and he nods then kisses my forehead then we all get to sleep in our rooms. I get in bed and hug Otto at my chest as I hear the door open and Ambra was standing with her teddy break in the door frame. I sit up and look at her „What happened, Ambra?” She walks to me leaving the door half opened and climbs up in the bed laying down beside me „I want to sleep with you.” I sighs and go close the door but Laurencio was having his pillow in his hand too „You want to sleep with us?” He nods and I point to the bed as he lays down like a little kid then I close the door. We all lay down in bed and Laurencio hugs the two of us as Ambra turns around to me „Can I sit on the edge? I need to go to the bathroom a lot at night!” I nod and lay down beside Laurencio and she walks out of my room with her tiny feet. Laurencio caresses his hands down my body to my waist as shirvers were traveling down my spine. I turn around facing his chest then I look up as he smiles and kisses my forehead „Why a forehead kiss?” I ask curious and he puts his arm under his head „Because forehead kisses mean that the person who did it, wants to stay for the rest of their life with you.” I giggle and smooch his nose then he doesn’t hesitate and kisses me. I give in and we have a sweet passionate kiss then I break apart and look around then frown „Why didn’t Ambra come back till now?” He rubs his forehead „She might’ve get back to her room.” I look at him surprised and then hesitate, but still say it „You can go back to your room too if you don’t mind us cuddling…” He looks down at me surprised „No, I don’t mind it. I actually love cuddling.” I smile shyly then wrap my arms around his neck as he wrapped his around my waist and buried his head in my neck „You smell good.” He whispers and I giggle nervously „Thank you.” And we fall asleep like that. The next day I wake up in an empty bed, but a delicious smell was coming from downstairs so I go in that way to see Laurencio in sweats with Ambra sitting on the counter beside him. I yawn and he turns around „Morning.” Ambra claps her hands „Today’s uncle Laurio’s birthday!” I look at her confused then at Laurencio „Is it?” He nods „Why didn’t you tell me earlier? Happy birthday.” I kiss his cheek and he smiles „Because I wanted it to be a surprise.” I cross my arms „You love surprising me.” He chuckles and we all sit down at the table „I feel bad for not getting you anything.” I put my head on my hand and he shake this head „You don’t have to be, love. I didn’t tell you because I wanted to take you out shopping for tonight’s ball.” I look at him even more confused „What ball?” Ambra giggles „Uncle Laurio has a ball for his birthday where a lot of people are coming!” I frown at him „No shopping. You have to stay home with ambra while I will be at the interview.” He smiles „Then we’ll see each other there. Ambra will be staying with my parents.” I smile and we all eat then get ready for leaving as grandma Michelle came and remained with ambra. My boyfriend looks very good in his expensive suits. I love seeing him like this, but of course he looks much better with nothing. I smile at him as he makes eye contact „We’re almost at the floor. Good luck and if you keep staring…” He smiles as the lift dings and we both get off at the same floor. I remain with his secretary as he walks in. His secretary was melting after him and didn’t try to hide it. Even tho I don’t feel very jealous, I don’t like it. He’s my Laurencio. My man. After a few minutes we get in too and I sit down in front of some men who seemed to be important and Laurencio. They ask me some questions while Laurencio noted something for a few minutes the looked at me and put me a question „How fast can you make an architecture plan? Any type of.” I sit a bit to think and smile at him politely „20 minutes with all the details if it’s on the computer, but in 3D it takes me around an hour and a half.” He nods and winks at me as his secretary gives me another question, but it didn’t have anything in common with architecture so Laurencio frowned at her and she left all scared. I look down and smile laughing a little bit then I look back at everyone. After a few minutes we finished and I left the room as his secretary was sitting down at a desk „Consider yourself lucky for getting to come to the interview.” I look at her surprised „I think so.” Then she inspects me better „You met with Mr. Bucudeno much earlier, isn it?” I look at her confused and a bit scared that she might know about my relationship with Laurencio „I don’t know what you’re talking about, miss. Who is Mr. Bucudeno?” She looks at me shocked „you don’t know who he is?! He’s the CEO of this company!” I look at her shocked „What?!” She nods and I cross my arms „He’s in there?” She nods smiling „He’s do handsome and rich. I wish I was his girlfriend.” I just hum as someone opens they door and Laurencio walks out of there with a smile on his face. -TO BE CONTINUED-
