(Based on a true story)

My name, Alexis and I was going to babysit a little 5yo girl named Ambra. Her uncle, Laurencio is her family. He told me that Ambra’s parents died in a car accident and he was the only one who was left from their family. I’ve been babysitting her for some months and we got pretty close, but I’ve never seen her uncle. I got to the house and ring the doorbell at the enormous door. A maid opened and guided me in taking me upstairs to Ambra’s room. She was playing with some toys and she let them down looking at me. I waved my hand at her and the maid closed the door „Hi, Ambra.” She got up and walked in front of me „What do you have in your bag?” She looked at my big bag. I sat down at her level and opened my bag „You can look in it, I brang it for you.” She shyly got her hand in and took out a candy with strawberries and frowned at me „I can’t eat this, nanny. My uncle is allergic to strawberries.” I took it and gave her an apple candy „Is this better?” She nodded and ate it within seconds. I smiled and looked around. She liked Barbie a lot like I do. And I see a doll which looked like Adele, my favorite singer. I look back at Ambra „What do you want to do?” She digs in my bag and takes out another candy „Just this one. I love it!” I nod and she claps her hands eating the candy. After that we went and played with her toys and she had more toys than I ever had in my life. She takes from a drawer the album named 30 from Adele and looks at me with puppy eyes „Can we listen to it?” I nod and she plays it at a CD player as we start having fun. I start singing and she looks at me amazed. I stop and chuckle as she runs behind me „Uncle Laurio!” She hugs a tall muscular man. He had silky brown hair and those ocean blue eyes were looking in mine so deep as his jaw line was so sharp and that shirt was showing his big muscles. I break the eye contact and he walks to me holding Ambra. How can a cute girl like Ambra have such a hot uncle? Incredible. „Laurencio Bucudeno, nice to meet you.” We shake hands and I smile „Alexis Ventra. It’s a pleasure. Ambra is a very good kid. She’s very intelligent too.” Ambra giggles at my words. He nods and looks at Ambra „How about you go play with your Adele dolls as I speak with Alexis, hm?” She nods and we leave going in his office. This house is huge! Anyways, he sits down at his desk and looks at me „What did she eat?” I put my hands together. „I gave her some carrot slices and an apple candy.” He nods „How did you approach her so fast?” I look at him confused „Pardon?” He speaks again „Ambra’s autistic and barely talks to anyone else than me.” I look at him surprised „She first approached me and we started talking.” He nods and gets up „You’ll be living here from now on and your salary is 200.000$ per month. Deal?” I look at him speechless „To live here?! I have a home! A cat! A family!” He shakes his head „You’re close to Ambra and that means you have to be here no matter what because you don’t know when she can have a panick atta-” He gets cut off by a scream. We both go to Ambra’s room to see her in a mess of shards and her feet were bleeding. I rush and pick her up and put her on one of her chairs taking out of my bag the first aid kit and bandage her wounds. She looks at me and smiles „Thank you. I love how you took care of me, you were very careful.” I smile and take her hand in mine „Of course, Ambra.” She looks at her uncle and speaks in Spanish „Uncle, she’s perfect. I want her to be my aunty.” I put back my fist aid kit and smile as her uncle answers „When the right time will come, Ambra, but I agree with you.” I get up and look at the mess of shards „Uhm… I can clean this if it’s not a problem.” He shakes his head and snaps his fingers. A maid quickly arrives then cleans the mess and leaves. I look at Ambra and she looks back at me as she speaks „Alexis, can you stay here with me? Forever?” I look at her uncle again and then back at her „Ambra, I have a house too and I am looking to go back.” She shakes her head as her eyes blow with tears „No… Don’t leave me too…” She hugs me tight and I hug her back calming her down. After some minutes she clams down and looks up at me still sobbing „Can you please, please, pretty please stay here?” I nod and she hugs me tight. After some time she falls asleep and Laurencio takes her away. I put things back to their place and go downstairs to cook something since I was a bit hungry and maids stopped doing their work as I entered „Is something wrong, Ms. Ventra?” I shake my head „I wanted to cook something but it seems that you’re already on it.” I nod and go in the living and take out my laptop and start doing some arhitecture drawings. I hear some footsteps and then someone plops on the sofa. I look to see Laurencio „Can I help you?” He shakes his head and looks in my papers „Arhitecture, interesting.” I nod „I have loved arhitecture since I was in middle school and this dream became real. Interior design.” I smile and he chuckles „I have a company too. It’s on this route too. Construction and I think we collaborated a few times.” I look at him confused „What projects… Or when?” He looks on his phone and gets up „Something poped up at my company, I’ll be back soon and tell Ambra that I’m getting her something if she’s looking for me.” I nod and he rushes out. I work for some more time and then Ambra walks downstairs and sits beside me „Alexis… Where is uncle Laurio?” I smile „He went out to take something for you.” Her face lits up „Really! What!” I chuckle „Secret.” She crosses her arms „Uncle Laurio always does this! Please tell me what is he going to bring me!” She pouts and I shake my head as I sign her to sit beside me „Sit down and let’s draw a house with flowers, windows, doors and what you want!” She nods and I give her a paper and some crayons that I always have in my bag as I get back to my drawing. After some time, I hear a faint snore beside me only to see Ambra asleep on my lap. I pick her up and go tuck her in bed then try to leave but she drags my hand with a pair of tired eyes „Stay… Please…” I smile and sit beside her as she drags me to lay with her then I cuddle her in my chest. The next day I wake up in another place. The best bed I could ask for. I look around just with a blurry vision and I groan getting up „My glasses…” I look after them and pat to feel them then put my glasses on only to see a tall, muscular man with a monster tattooed back. I gasp and he turns around to see that it’s Laurencio. I cover my eyes as I feel that the fabric on my wasn’t so tight on me so I look down to see that it was a 7 sizes bigger t-shirt. I get my hands off and look all around panicked „Wh-Who… Wh-What happened here! I want answers!” I say worried and look up at Laurencio since he was much more taller than me as he helps me get up from the bed „You fell asleep last night with Ambra in her bed and I wanted to take you to the guest room but you moved so much that I almost dropped you and my room was the closest, but I slept in the guest room.” I frown at him „And why did you change my clothes?” He shakes his head „You were half asleep when you told me to give you your pyjamas to change so I gave you one of my t-shirts and I left.” I get up and look down to see that the t-shirt wasn’t fully covering my lower waist so I pull it down and frown up at Laurencio „Bring me my bag, I’ve got some spare clothes in there.” He leaves and brings me my bag at the door then closes it. I get dressed in a white sleeved top and a pair of flared green jeans, do my simple make up and hair then go downstairs. Ambra rushes and hugs me „I thought you left, Alexis!” I sit down at her level and smile as she takes my hand in hers „How about you call me Lexi, hm?” She nods and gives me her puppy eyes „Up?” I pick her up and we go to the dining room as Laurencio was watching on his tablet. I put Ambra on her chair and she pats on the chair beside me „Sit with me!” I chuckle and do as she said then the butler of the house I think brings me and Ambra breakfast. I smile and then look at Laurencio who was whispering with the butler. It seemed like they were talking about someone, but I shrug it off and look at Ambra as she pushes her fork to me „C-Can you feed me?” She whispers and I hum taking her fork as I cut some carrot and mix it with was in the plate then feed Ambra with it „Yum! Yum!” She claps her hands as Laurencio speaks „Ambra, you can eat by yourself, let Alexis eat her food.” He doesn’t even bother to look up at us. I smile at Ambra „No, little one. It’s okay. Someone has to give you the love you need.” She nods and I keep feeding her. She finishes after a few minutes then I look at her „How about you go play until I eat too, hm?” She nods and leaves the dining room as I start eating. I feel a piece of bread coming towards me so I catch it and put it on the table frowning at Laurencio „What’s up with you? Can’t you let me eat in peace?” He smirks and throws another piece of bread at me and I make a ball of bread then throw it at him „Enough!” I get up and push the chair back to it’s place „I lost my appetite, bonne appetite in continue.” I take my purse and go upstairs to Ambra. She was playing with her dolls. I sit down beside her and she looks up at me „Can we play tea party?” I nod and we get dressed in princesses and she takes out her tea set. We make ‘tea’ then sit at the table and drink „The tea is delicious, princess Ambra! I love it!” I say and sip from my imaginary tea. She giggles and pours me some more. I gasp and frown at her „It’s already too much! I’ll get fat, princess Ambra!” She shakes her head „It’s fake!” I gasp even louder „So I drank air! I’m going to tell your uncle!” I get up and walk to the door but bump into a hard chest. I sigh and look up „Oh, Mr. Bucudeno… I’m sorry.” He looks down at me and analises me a bit „It’s okay, but watch where your going next time, princess.” He winks at me and walks away. Wait… Did he just called me princess?! That’s not possible. I just need to shrug it off my mind. I look back at Ambra and she was sitting there smiling „How about we clean around and color in one of your books?” She nods and we do like that. After some time I hear her yawn „Lexi… Can we sleep? I feel tired…” I nod and get her ready for her nap. She lays in bed and I kiss her forehead then she smiles „Sweet dreams, Ambra.” I say and she turns on the other side then falls asleep. I clean in the play room then take my bag to see that I don’t have anymore clothes. I sigh and go knock at Ambra’s uncle’s office. He says a fainted ‘come in’ so I go in. He keeps focused on his work as he talks „What is it?” I put my hands together and my bag on my shoulder „Can I go home to pack my things and get them here? Plus that I have to find a new owner for my cat…” I look down a bit upset that I have to leave my house. He clicks his tongue „But you already did that, all of your things plus your cat are in your room.” I look up at him confused „But I didn’t…” He gets up and looks down at me since he was much taller than me „Follow me, Alexis.” My name on his lips sounds… So good… I follow him on the main hall and he take some to the door next to Ambra’s. Laurencio opens the door only to see my whole room from my house. It looked identical! I walk in and Otto walks to my legs giving me a hug. I pick him up and give him a kiss on his forehead „Hey baby, how’d you get here?” He just licks my nose and I giggle then look at Laurencio „How’d you do this?” He smiles and lifts his shoulders as his hands dive in his pockets „Well, enjoy your room.” He closes the door after leaving. I take Otto as a baby and go in my built-in wardrobe and open it looking for some clothes to change and I see a hoodie. I don’t usually wear hoodies so I put Otto down and take it out. It was 7 times bigger than my size… Was it from Laurencio? Hmm, interesting. I choose an outfit with that hoodie and put it on. It smelled like him… I sniff it again and smile, his cologne was so strong. I leave my room and go to Ambra’s to see her still sleeping so I had time to go design some rooms. After some time I fall asleep and I feel carried away some minutes later. I move a bit and a pair of strong arms tense trying not to drop me „Please don’t wake up, please don’t wake up.” A voice whispers and I open my eyes slowly to see Laurencio freezed looking at me „Why did you take me from my bed?!” He puts me down and fidgets with his fingers „It doesn’t matter.” He looks at his phone and looks back at me „Something poped up, I gotta go.” He tries to go away, but I grab his hand „Laurencio. Tell me why. Just why did you do this?” He stops and takes my hand „Let’s go to my office.” I nod and we go there holding hands. We walk in his office and he closes the door and leans on it „There’s something you should know.” I cross my arms and nod „What is it? Just tell me.” He pins me to the wall as my hands wrap around his neck and I gasp „Alexis… There’s a feeling I feel about you that I can’t describe, you’re the one on my mind every second since I saw you the first time. I can’t take my eyes off you and you’re just perfect…” He smashes his lips on mine as his arm goes around my waist. I kiss him back as he deepens the kiss. It feels like I’ve waited for this moment so much… It feels like Heaven. I play with his hair as his right hand goes up under my hoodie and I gasp, but he doesn’t hesitate and dives with his tongue in my mouth. He picks me up and I wrap my legs around his waist. We kept it like that for what felt like an eternity and I break the kiss „W-We shouldn’t…” I whisper as he scans my face and frowns at me „Why? Because you’re Ambra’s nanny? It doesn’t matter, you can become her aunt and then you will be much closer to her. I don’t care how long it takes till I make you mine, but I will achieve this.” I look at him with big eyes as my cheeks heat up and he smirks „And I think the feeling is mutual, isn’t it?” I nod as we get interrupted by a knock in the door „Uncle Laurio? Where’s Lexi? She said she’ll be right beside me when I will wake up…” Laurencio puts me down and opens the door as I go to them too and Ambra looks at the two of us surprised „Lexi, why are you wearing uncle Laurio’s hoodie? Wait! YOU DID THE NAUGHTY THING!” She looks at her uncle „Uncle Laurio, I knew you will do this.” She runs around the house screaming „UNCLE LAURIO AND LEXI ARE TOGETHER! THEY DID THE NAUGHTY THING!” I sigh and look at him „See now? That’s why.” He shakes his head „I don’t care what Ambra is saying, but she’s right. We should be together.” He pins me to the wall and we make eye contact as I can feel his breath on my lips. We hear a gasp as the tension between us breaks and we look at the door to see Ambra „Are you going to do the naughty thing again? I want to see it!” I blush harder as Laurencio sigh and crosses his arms „What did I tell you about getting in my office?” Ambra giggles and walks away. I try go after her, but Laurencio grabs my hand and drags me back in his embrace „Please. Just give me a chance.” I look around a bit to think. I’ve never been in his office before. „I don’t know what to say, sir.” His eyes go big „Sir? That’s too formal for what happened.” I chuckle and blush a bit as he smiles „Please, I’ll take you on a date.” I nod „How about tonight?” I cross my arms and sigh „I can’t, I have to babysit a little girl. Her name is Ambra.” He smiles „Ha ha, good joke.” I smile „Of course we can tonight, but what about Ambra?” He crosses his arms „She’ll just stay with my parents. 7:00?” I nod then leave and go to my room. Finally! He asked me on a date! Oh, maybe I forgot to mention that I have liked him since I first saw him, right? Well the first time I saw Laurencio wasn’t a few days ago, it was the first time I came to babysit Ambra. He was walking around the house with some other men when Ambra and I spotted him and since then… He became… Mine… I look in my bulit-in wardrobe and look for an outfit. My white denim dress with a pair of long black boots, my blue purse would fit good and wavy hair is the best option, simple make up and my favourite perfume. Perfect. I first take a shower and do my skin care so it will be smooth. I get dressed in my dress and make my hair then get my shoes on. I was stunning. I perfume myself and watch the time to see that it’s already 7:30. Oh crap. I’m late! I open the door and see Ambra with a stunned look on her face as she whispers „Wow…” I smile and she takes my hand as she giggles „Uncle Laurio will love you!” I chuckle and agree with her as we go downstairs. There were Laurencio and a elderly couple. Laurencio looks up at me and his lips tremble a bit as he speaks „You’re very beautiful…” He gets up and kisses my hand. I smile and we make eye contact as he chuckles nervously „Right, Alexis, these are my parents.” He shows me the elderly couple. I shake hands with them as they get up „It’s nice to meet you, Mrs. and Mr. Bucudeno.” His father nods and his mother looks at me a bit confused „Dear, where’s your ring?” I look at her then at Laurencio confused as he takes my hand „Uhm… What ring?” I ask as Laurencio just chuckles nervously „Mother, we’re going on our first date…” His mom looks at us shocked „What? But Ambra told me something else!” We all look at Ambra and she giggles in her cute way „Well, granny Michelle it’s not what it looks like unfortunately.” Laurencio’s father looks at us „You don’t have to worry about this little one, we can take care of her for a few hours.” Laurencio gets up and stretches his hand to me. I smile and let him take my hand in his as we say goodbye to his mansion then get in his brand new Maserati, my favorite car. I stop and look at him „A Maserati lavante?” He nods „Well, I chose some places I think you would like and your favourite car.” We get in and he puts a blindfold at my eyes „Okay… So it’s going to be a surprise.” I smile excited as he chuckles „Yeah, just hold tight.” He leashes the seatbelt around me. He drives and we talk for some time and then the car stops „We got here. Don’t move.” He says and gets off the car then opens my door and picks me up „You’ll love this.” He stops and puts me down then takes the blind fold off my eyes. I gasp as I couldn’t believe what I was seeing „My favorite restaurant!” I turn around at him and hug him „Thank you! Thank you!” He hugs me back and then I take his hand „Let’s go in.” He nods and we go in. The waiter walks us to the best table from Fenice, the window one. You could see the whole city from there! I smile as Laurencio puls my chair and I sit down. He sits down too and a waiter brings us menus. All of theme were middle aged men. I knew they had teenagers or students working here. Interesting. I look in the menu and smile „How about we first order a drink?” He snaps his fingers and the waiter from before walks to us and brings two glasses and brings my favourite wine. I put my menu down and take a glass as Laurencio does the same. We cheer then drink a bit. It was perfect. I chuckle and look at the man of my dreams who was sitting in front of me „Did you do all of these?” He shrugs his shoulders smiling „Maybe. It’s a mistery.” I look back on the menu „Can I order?” He nods and the waiter walks to us again, takes our orders then leaves. I put my head on my hand and just smile staring at Laurencio „How did I manage to be here?” I whisper and he take this hand in mine and kisses it „You just have to show me love, Alexis. I will treat you like a queen and I want your love in change. Nothing else.” He whispers and kisses my hand again. I nod and the waiter brings us the food as the moment between us broke. I get a notification on my phone to see that it’s from… Laurencio? I look up at him confused „Why did I just get a text from you?”
